Overview¶
The Surface Displacement from Sentinel-1 (DISP-S1) product provides high-quality InSAR-derived surface-displacement time series with reduced decorrelation noise, generated using a hybrid Persistent Scatterer (PS) and Distributed Scatterer (DS) processing approach. DISP-S1 supports OPERA’s surface-displacement and vertical-land-motion mission objectives.
Product level & distribution¶
Processing level: Level-3
DAAC: ASF DAAC
Project: NASA OPERA (JPL)
Applications¶
Tectonic deformation and earthquake displacement monitoring
Land subsidence from groundwater and hydrocarbon extraction
Landslide and slow-slip event detection
Infrastructure and critical-facility stability monitoring
Inputs¶
OPERA Level-2 Coregistered Single-Look Complex (CSLC-S1) time series
CSLC-S1 static geometry layers
Water masks and ionospheric correction data
Digital elevation model and Sentinel-1 orbit ephemerides
